Database query manipulation via unneutralized course_name input
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in CampCodes Online Examination System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via course_name. The addCourseExe.php handler incorporates the request-body value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing attacker-controlled query structure. Access to the administrative course-creation function is required, and successful injection enables database reads, writes, or service interruption within the database account's privileges.
