Authenticated database access via unsanitized exam identifier
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in CampCodes Online Examination System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through exam_id. The ranking-exam.php handler fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the exam_id value before using it in a database query. A valid low-privilege session and network access are required; successful injection permits database reads or changes within the application's database privileges.
