Remote code execution in Microsoft Windows Server DNS allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code over the network. Microsoft has not published the vulnerable DNS code path or the incorrect memory-locking operation beyond assigning CWE-591. Exploitation requires administrator privileges and a reachable DNS Server role, and successful execution can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
