Authenticated SQL injection via due_year parameter
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in itsourcecode Complete Web-Based School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The /view/student_due_payment.php handler fails to neutralize the due_year request value before using it in an SQL statement, allowing crafted input to change the statement's meaning. A valid low-privilege application session is required, and database access remains bounded by the application's database account.
