Authenticated code execution via RRAS memory corruption
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Windows RRAS allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a crafted network request. Microsoft identifies an integer overflow and heap-based buffer overflow but has not published the affected parser, field, or malformed-input operation. Exploitation requires high privileges and an enabled, network-reachable RRAS service; successful exploitation executes code on the target.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
