Database disclosure via crafted grade parameter
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in itsourcecode Complete Web-Based School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The show_student2.php endpoint passes the grade request argument into an SQL operation without proper neutralization, allowing crafted values to alter the query. A valid low-privilege account and network access to the web application are required; successful exploitation exposes data accessible to the application account.
