Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft SQL Server Native Client allows remote attackers to execute code through a malicious SQL database. Microsoft identifies the locus as SQL Server Native Client and the operation as heap-buffer handling, but has not disclosed the affected parser or malformed field. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to connect through an applicable database driver to an attacker-controlled SQL database, after which code runs in that user's context.
