Client code execution via use-after-free

Use-after-free in SQL Server Native Client for Microsoft SQL Server 2016 SP3 through 2019 allows attackers to execute code via crafted server data. The connection driver accesses freed memory while processing malicious data returned by an attacker-controlled SQL database; Microsoft has not disclosed the affected function or object. Exploitation requires a user to initiate a connection to the malicious database, and successful execution runs in the client user’s context.
