Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft SQL Server Native Client allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted network data. Microsoft identifies the locus only as a Native Client heap buffer and has not disclosed which parser or length calculation mishandles the data. Exploitation requires user interaction; successful exploitation grants code execution in the affected client process.
