Unauthenticated denial of service via arbitrary UDP messages
Published Nov 13, 2024 · Updated Nov 13, 2024
Uncontrolled resource consumption in Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive before 20V36 allows remote attackers to render devices unresponsive. The PROFINET stack consumes resources without limits when it processes arbitrary UDP messages. Network access to the device is sufficient; exploitation requires no authentication or user interaction and leaves the drive unable to respond.
