Out-of-bounds read in libarchive before 3.7.5 allows attackers to disclose heap data or crash a process via a crafted RAR file. The execute_filter_delta loop increments src while decoding attacker-controlled length and channel values without stopping before src reaches the destination region. Exploitation requires an application or user to make an affected build decompress the archive; the over-read can expose adjacent heap data or terminate the consuming process.
