CVE-2024-48941Network attack vector

MFA bypass via default REST allowlist

Published Oct 9, 2024 · Updated Oct 10, 2024

Authentication bypass in Syracom Secure Login 3.1.4.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access REST resources without MFA. The default configuration allowlists /rest and /downloads, causing requests to those endpoints to rely on a username and password instead of MFA. Valid application credentials are required, and the bypass exposes REST data and file attachments without the configured second factor.
