Regular expression denial of service in Znuny LTS 6.0, 6.5.1 through 6.5.10, and 7.0.1 through 7.0.16 allows remote attackers to block email parsing. The email content parser applies an inefficient regular expression to crafted Microsoft Word HTML, driving high CPU use and stalling the parsing process. Remote attackers trigger the availability impact by delivering a crafted HTML email; no data disclosure or modification is reported.
