Incorrect authorization in SchedMD Slurm before 24.05.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute processes in other users' jobs. SchedMD identifies a mistake in stepmgr authentication handling but has not disclosed the faulty check or request path. Exposure is limited to jobs submitted with --stepmgr or clusters configured with SlurmctldParameters=enable_stepmgr.
