CVE-2024-48925Network attack vector

Low-privilege disclosure of restricted webhook data

Published Oct 22, 2024 · Updated Oct 22, 2024

Improper access control in Umbraco CMS 14.0.0 through 14.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to retrieve restricted webhook data. The webhook API permits requests from low-privilege accounts without enforcing the Settings-section authorization boundary; the public advisory does not identify the responsible controller or policy. A low-privilege backoffice account is required, and exposure is limited to webhook information reserved for Settings users.
