Authenticated administrator session hijacking via exposed REST tokens

Published May 1, 2025 · Updated May 6, 2025

Improper access control in Sematell ReplyOne 7.4.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to hijack administrator sessions via its REST API. The /rest/sessions endpoint returns every active application-server session and its token to any authenticated account without enforcing role permissions. An ordinary authenticated user can reuse a disclosed administrator token as the MM_SESSION cookie, gaining the administrator's access without interrupting service.
