Stored XSS via unsanitized playbook content
Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Stored XSS in Fortinet FortiSOAR 7.2.1 through 7.2.2 and 7.3.0 through 7.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. Playbook creation accepts malicious content without neutralizing it before that content is rendered in a web page. The attack requires playbook-creation privileges and a victim to view the stored content; script execution occurs in that victim's browser context.
