CVE-2024-4889Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via Google KMS secret evaluation

Published Jun 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Code injection in LiteLLM 1.34.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through its Google KMS secret manager. The secret-management path evaluates attacker-controlled SAVE_CONFIG_TO_DB content after UI_LOGO_PATH causes a malicious KMS configuration to be cached. Exploitation requires high-privilege access and an active Google KMS configuration, and successful execution grants control of the server.
