CVE-2024-48883

Information leak via malformed uplink scheduling message

Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Jan 13, 2025

Information disclosure in Samsung Exynos processors and modems allows physically proximate attackers to expose UE data via a malformed message. The user equipment improperly processes a malformed uplink scheduling message and leaks information instead of rejecting the input. Physical proximity and the ability to deliver crafted radio-layer input are required; the disclosed consequence is limited to information exposure.
