CVE-2024-48870Network attack vector

Stored script execution via unvalidated URI registration

Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024

Stored cross-site scripting in Toshiba Tec e-STUDIO908, e-STUDIO1058, and e-STUDIO1208 firmware lets attackers run script in victim browsers. URI data registration accepts and persists crafted input without the validation needed to prevent its later inclusion as executable browser content. An administrative user must store the input and another user must open the device page; affected firmware is T1.01.h4.00 and earlier for the 1058/1208 and T2.12.h3.00 and earlier for the 908.
