Authenticated code execution via undisclosed input validation
Published Sep 18, 2025 · Updated Sep 18, 2025
Improper input validation in ABB FLXeon 9.3.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code over a network. ABB has not disclosed the affected input, protocol handler, or code path, beyond stating that the product fails to validate a specified input type. Exploitation requires high privileges and a misconfigured controller reachable from an insecure network, and successful attacks grant remote control of the device.
