OS command injection in Progress WhatsUp Gold 2023.1.0 through 2023.1.2 allows remote attackers to execute code via its web API. The CommunityController API endpoint fails to validate user-supplied upload data, permitting arbitrary files to be placed and executed by the service. No authentication or user interaction is required, and resulting code runs with iisapppool\nmconsole service-account privileges.
