Remote command execution via unsanitized file parameter
Published Dec 5, 2024 · Updated Dec 5, 2024
OS command injection in ABB ASPECT 3.08.02 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands over the network. The fileSystemUpdateExecute.php script passes its file HTTP GET parameter to an operating-system command without adequate validation. Network access to an exposed or otherwise reachable ASPECT node is required; the public disclosure describes authentication, while ABB's published scoring records no privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
