Authenticated code execution via admin_id SQL injection
Published Oct 11, 2024 · Updated Oct 11, 2024
SQL injection in Taskmatic Employee Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through admin_id. The update-employee.php endpoint fails to neutralize the admin_id value before using it in an SQL command, allowing crafted input to alter the statement. Low-privileged authentication is required; successful exploitation exposes and modifies application data and executes code on the host.
