Browser script execution via unescaped search input
Published Oct 30, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Projectworlds Doctor Appointment Management System 1.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to run browser scripts. The search handler places the untrusted search parameter into a generated results page without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a user to render the crafted response; impact is limited to data read or modification in that user's browser context.
