CVE-2024-48790Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Firmware disclosure via unauthenticated download URLs

Published Oct 14, 2024 · Updated Oct 16, 2024

Incorrect access control in ILIFE ILIFEHOME 1.8.7 allows remote attackers to download firmware through exposed update URLs. The app's m5935q, m5934r, and m5933s methods expose values used to reconstruct HTTPS object URLs, and the firmware server returns ZIP archives without authenticating the requester. An attacker needs an extracted object URL from the app; the demonstrated consequence is read access to unreleased firmware, not server-side modification or update delivery.
