Information disclosure in SwitchBot 5.0.4 allows remote attackers to download unreleased firmware from its update server. The app's MainContants class exposes release and debug JSON URLs, and the server returns update metadata and binaries without device or user authorization. Network access alone permits retrieval for offline analysis; the report does not demonstrate installation of modified images.
