Firmware disclosure via unauthenticated update downloads

Information disclosure in C-CHIP Firmware 1.2.8 allows remote attackers to download firmware images through the update service. The update client exposes a static update.json endpoint, and the vendor server returns its firmware manifest and listed binary files without device or user authorization. Network access to the HTTPS endpoint is sufficient to retrieve unreleased firmware for offline analysis; the report does not demonstrate upload or installation of modified images.
