CVE-2024-48733Network attack vector

Authenticated SQL execution via session endpoint

Published Oct 30, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Disputed SQL injection in SAS Studio 9.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through a session endpoint. The /SASStudio/sasexec/sessions/{sessionID}/sql endpoint executes SQL supplied in a POST body within an authorized user's active session. A valid SAS session is required, and SAS disputes the issue because executing submitted SQL is intended functionality for authorized users.
