Stack-based buffer overflow in TP-Link TL-WDR7660 firmware 1.0 allows remote attackers on an adjacent network to crash the router via HTTP. The guestRuleJsonToBin function accepts an oversized guest_network name without checking its length, which overflows stack storage. Reachability requires adjacent network access to the management interface; the demonstrated result is a system crash and loss of the guest-network module.
