Stored XSS via unsanitized membership type
Published Oct 21, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2025
Stored XSS in edit_type.php in CodeAstro Membership Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a viewer's browser. The membershipType field accepts a script payload during membership-type editing, stores it, and renders it unescaped in view_type.php. Administrative access is required to plant the payload, and a user must view the membership-types page to trigger browser-context execution.
