Stored script execution via unsanitized name fields
Published Oct 22, 2024 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Stored XSS in Collabtive 3.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser through crafted names. The tasklist.php add/edit and admin.php adduser/edituser flows accept and store the name parameter without sanitization, then render it in later task-list or user-list views. An attacker needs a Collabtive account and project access, and a victim must view the affected page; the script then runs in that victim's session and can read or alter accessible application data.
