Editor-level privilege escalation via unrestricted role metadata

Privilege escalation in Frontend Registration – Contact Form 7 5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to assign elevated roles. The cf7_save_reg_contact_form function writes the submitted cf7frr value to form post metadata after text sanitization without verifying that the caller may assign that role. Editor-level access to a Contact Form 7 form is required, and changing its default registration role causes subsequently created users to receive the selected privileges.
