Browser script execution via unencoded portal input
Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026
Reflected XSS in the WSO2 API Manager Developer Portal allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The portal returns user-controlled input to a rendered page without applying the expected validation constraints or output encoding. Exploitation requires a low-privileged actor and user interaction; it can redirect the browser, alter the page UI, or retrieve browser data, but httpOnly cookies prevent session hijacking.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=3.2.0 <3.2.0.408
- Affected versionversion=3.2.1 <3.2.1.32
