Stored script execution via unescaped inquiry name
Published Jun 4, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Stored XSS in FS Product Inquiry 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a WordPress inquiry editor session. The plugin stores the submitted name field without sanitizing or escaping it, then renders the value when an individual inquiry is edited. Any visitor can plant the payload, but execution requires a WordPress user with access to the inquiry editor to open the stored inquiry.
