CVE-2024-48547Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Firmware disclosure via brute-forced device identifiers

Published Oct 24, 2024 · Updated Oct 24, 2024

Incorrect authorization in DreamCatcher Life 1.8.7 allows remote authenticated users to download device firmware from its server. The app exposes firmware-download request construction through fuelKT, and the server accepts brute-forced pid values without verifying authorization for the device. Registration and token capture are required to derive the request, after which complete firmware images can be read and inspected for embedded secrets and configuration.
