Incorrect authorization in Yamaha Headphones Controller 1.6.7 allows attackers to download complete device firmware via derived network requests. The APK exposes firmware-update classes and network-request details that reveal download URLs, and the server returns firmware without enforcing access control. Attackers need only obtain and analyze the Android APK; the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized firmware disclosure, including embedded secrets or configuration.
