CVE-2024-48538Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Firmware disclosure via unauthenticated update requests

Published Oct 24, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Missing authorization in Neye3C 4.5.2.0 allows remote attackers to download camera firmware through its update service. The APK exposes the update endpoint and a plaintext RC4 key, and the server accepts crafted okHttpPost parameters without authentication. A compatible camera is needed to capture device parameters; successful requests disclose complete firmware for offline analysis of any embedded secrets.
