Service interruption via undersized sensor thread stack
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Stack overflow in ArduPilot Rover commit c56439b045162058df0ff136afea3081fcd06d38 allows local users to interrupt service. The AP_InertialSensor_ADIS1647x::loop thread receives a 1,024-byte stack even though its measured call chain consumes 1,216 bytes in the reported build. The condition requires the ADIS1647x sensor and the detailed AnyleafH7 Rover build configuration; the published evidence establishes service interruption but not code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
