Database data exposure via rooms parameter injection
Published Oct 28, 2024 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
SQL injection in MRBS 1.5.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through a crafted rooms[] request parameter. edit_entry_handler.php incorporates a rooms[] element into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, as demonstrated by a time-delay conditional payload. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful injection can expose or alter database data and interrupt service.
