Unauthenticated disclosure of sensitive router information
Published Jan 6, 2025 · Updated Jan 7, 2025
Information disclosure in Netis NX10, NC65, NC63, NC21, and MW5360 firmware allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive data. The CNA record names /cgi-bin/skk_set.cgi and /bin/scripts/start_wifi.sh but does not disclose the out-of-bounds read operation or the data returned; a Rapid7 module instead maps this identifier to an unauthenticated first-setup password reset. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient on NX10 2.0.1.3582 and 2.0.1.3643, NC65 3.0.0.3749, NC63 3.0.0.3327 and 3.0.0.3503, NC21 3.0.0.3329, 3.0.0.3500, and 3.0.0.3800, and MW5360 1.0.1.3031 and 1.0.1.3442; the published assessment limits direct impact to confidentiality.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
