Stored XSS via uploaded HTML attachments
Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
Stored XSS in Huly Platform 0.6.295 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser through an uploaded HTML file. The tracker comment attachment flow accepts HTML containing script and serves it in a form that executes when the attachment or its link is opened. A user must view the affected comment or open the file link, after which the script runs in that user's Huly web context and can read or modify data accessible to that session.
