Stored script execution via unsanitized borrower fields
Published Oct 22, 2024 · Updated Oct 23, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in itsourcecode Loan Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in borrowers' browsers. The new-borrower handler accepts script markup in lastname, firstname, middlename, address, contact_no, email, and tax_id without neutralizing it before Borrowers-page output. Exploitation requires login and a user viewing the affected borrower data; the script then runs in that user's browser context.
