Unauthenticated application-settings disclosure
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Information exposure in Progress Telerik Report Server 2024 Q1 and earlier allows remote attackers to view restricted settings through IIS. The Server REST API returns storage-setting values to unauthenticated requests because an unspecified trust-boundary check fails. Exposure requires IIS; externally configured storage can reveal plaintext credentials, while default local storage limits their usefulness outside the host.
