Database data extraction via injectable search parameter
Published Oct 15, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul User Registration & Login and User Management System 3.2 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The /admin/search-result.php handler passes the POST searchkey value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling UNION and time-based blind injection. Access to the administrator panel and valid administrator credentials are required, and the demonstrated consequence is extraction of the current database and its tables.
