Administrator code execution via unchecked template filename
Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
Arbitrary file write in Oufu OFCMS 1.1.2 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute server code. TemplateController.save passes the unvalidated file_name request value to FileUtils.write, whose FileOutputStream writes outside the template directory. Backend administrator privileges are required; a traversal filename can place attacker-controlled JSP content in Tomcat's webapps directory for server-side execution.
