Authenticated code execution via traversal-based JSP write
Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
Arbitrary code execution in Oufu OFCMS 1.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to run code by saving a crafted template file. TemplateController.save passes the unvalidated file_name value to FileUtils.write, whose FileOutputStream writes attacker-selected content outside the template directory. Backend administrator access is required; placing a JSP under Tomcat's webapps directory grants code execution with the application service's privileges.
