Database read and modification via concatenated field name
Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
SQL injection in FunAdmin 5.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the savefield endpoint. The savefield method assigns the attacker-controlled COLUMN_NAME value to a field variable, concatenates it directly into an SQL statement, and executes it. The CURD one-click command mode plugin must be installed and backend administrator access is required; injected queries can read, modify, or delete application data.
