CVE-2024-48225Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file deletion via unsanitized path traversal

Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024

Path traversal in FunAdmin 5.0.2 allows remote authenticated users with backend administrator access to delete arbitrary files. The delfile method in app/curd/controller/Index.php assigns the id parameter directly to a file path and passes it to unlink without validation. Exploitation requires installation of the CURD one-click command component, and deletion is limited by the web process's filesystem permissions.
