Arbitrary file read via unchecked path concatenation
Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
Path traversal in FunAdmin 5.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files through the editfile endpoint. The editfile method in app/curd/controller/Index.php concatenates the id parameter into a path and passes it directly to file_get_contents without constraining traversal. Exploitation requires the CURD One Click Command Mode plugin and backend administrator privileges; retrieved data is limited to files readable by the web process.
